Our Director comes with a decade of property experience and our CEO from an online retail background, when we embarked upon our new venture of setting up as a high street estate agent we couldn’t understand why so many agents were against online competitors. To us it makes sense, it’s a natural progression of the market and we embrace the change. We’ve tested business models for both the online market and the traditional agents – they both have their advantages and disadvantages so to us it makes sense to combine all the advantages and offer both to our clients to choose from.
We offer all of the services you would expect to find when selling your property, with one added advantage – the cost. It shouldn’t cost a commission which can be thousands of pounds for an agent to market your property, regardless of what they pitch to you. At House Steps, unlike other online agents we have three simple packages with no add on’s. You will find that this is where most online agents will try and catch you out – they offer a base amount but by the time you have added on everything you will need to sell your property; you may as well just have gone the traditional route! We’re transparent about what you will receive from each service and we will always advise you according to your specific circumstances, not what costs the most. We let you be your own Property Manager.
